Troops! TEN-HUT!
Probably the most misunderstood, at least her name was, cadet of all the Oklahoma litter, Cadet Laurey has been reassigned to Camp Scheck-Benintendi. Actually, the confusion of Laurey’s name can be blamed on AUTO-CORRECT! Each time anyone would try to type her name, the evil paperclip inside their computer would “correct” the name to Lauren…or Laura!
Kathy, Laurey’s new Commander, fixed that by naming her “Nikita!” So, even though the Microsoft gnomes MAY say it is a misspelling, the DIs just add it to the dictionary…and it is all rainbows, butterflies, and unicorns!
While not officially stationed at the new camp, a junior officer will contribute to Nikita’s training on an ad hoc basis, as quarantine allows. We expect nothing but excellence from this junior officer’s training approach, because…well, she is a Princess, after all!
Go have the BEST LIFE EVER, little Cadet Nikita! Enjoy your new home and family!
