A TOUGH POST TO WRITE, Yo Puppy Fans…

I’ve put off posting this, but kinda have to. The Yo Puppy Ranch is devastated by the diagnosis of the Parvovirus with Daryl and Rick a few weeks back. Rick struggled, but recovered. He’s been moved to a different Foster home. Many of our Pawsitive Tails Fosters have had to deal with Parvo. When you rescue all the dogs, there’s bound to be one that is ill before you discover it.

SADLY…

Daryl did not survive. We don’t know how this devastating disease invaded our little sanctuary. But, it means zero new foster puppies at The Ranch for the near-term. It makes us SO SAD to see all the sweet puppies that need rescuing, when we can’t help.

A lot of cleaning to do and a lot of soul searching to do. Because Parvo stays on lawns for up to a year, we’re trying to figure some things out.

PLEASE VACCINATE ALL YOUR ANIMALS. AND, PLEASE CONSIDER BECOMING A FOSTER FOR PAWSITIVE TAILS.

Applications to foster or to adopt one of the wonderful dogs and puppies are at Pawsitive Tails: PawsitiveTailsKC.org.

RIP little Cadet Daryl. You can run and
play on the other side of the bridge.

Don’t you wish your puppy was a Yo Puppy?
